Claire has a passion for storytelling and creating community. Through her work as a Lighting Designer, she explores the relationship between light, space, and the way lighting can enhance the emotional atmosphere of a location. She is especially inspired by the rhythm that lighting can generate and finding opportunities to bring a space to life.

Claire enjoys the collaborative nature of Lighting Design, the interplay of light on different materials. Prior to joining Banks Landl Lighting Design, Claire designed for theatre, opera, dance, film, and corporate events. Each of these experiences has informed her approach to Architectural Lighting Design.

Claire holds a BA in Theatrical Design from Columbia College Chicago and a MFA in Experience Design from California Institute of the Arts.
