Splash | Thrive City

Splash at Thrive City delivers a next-generation sports bar experience—where immersive media, layered architectural lighting, and warm hospitality converge in a high-energy social arena.

Located in Thrive City adjacent to Chase Center, Splash redefines the traditional sports bar as an immersive, media-driven environment balanced by material richness and layered light. Designed as both game-day destination and everyday gathering place, the space integrates large-format LED screens, a continuous digital ticker, and strategically positioned displays to ensure complete visual access from every seat.

The lighting design is calibrated to support broadcast clarity while preserving warmth and comfort. Ambient illumination remains intentionally restrained, allowing the glow of the media ribbon and video walls to energize the perimeter. Architectural coves and integrated millwork lighting add depth and hierarchy, while feature pendants and decorative globes introduce a softer, human scale across lounges and dining zones.

A sculptural stair—accented with integrated linear light—anchors the double-height volume, guiding guests between levels and reinforcing the project’s strong geometric language. Wood ceilings with inset luminous panels create a warm canopy overhead, balancing the cool intensity of the digital displays. At the bar, undercounter lighting and backlit shelving highlight texture and craftsmanship, giving the central gathering point a refined presence.

Private lounges and game simulator areas are layered with adjustable lighting scenes, shifting seamlessly from daytime dining to high-energy playoff atmosphere. Throughout, light operates as both performance infrastructure and experiential tool—supporting clarity, excitement, and connection.

Splash emerges as a contemporary social arena: bold, immersive, and unmistakably vibrant—where architecture, technology, and light amplify the collective thrill of the game.
