With a background in lighting for entertainment, theatre, and film, Kaitlin brings a love of character and form to her passion for Lighting Design. She believes that lighting has an intangible quality that accentuates, elevates and adds a unique depth to all settings. She is always seeking layers of light that influence and underscore our experiences in the world.

Her education from Long Beach State University and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) fostered her care for enriched narrative through lighting. Before joining the team at Banks Landl Lighting Design, Kaitlin worked as a freelance designer for theatre, film, and live events. While obtaining her Masters in Fine Arts from UCLA, Kaitlin began to merge her interest in the world-building achieved by lighting and its relationship with a physical environment, and began an internship with Banks Landl. She is excited to step into her new role as Junior Designer with a team of brilliant minds and continue bringing life to spaces through the powerful presence of thoughtful lighting design.
