The remodeling of this Mauna Kea ocean-facing lounge, was part of a large long-term revamp of one of the Big Island's classic resorts. The formerly dark space was opened up to beach views. Crisp modern lines were given warmth with copper-colored accents and selections from the hotel's large collection of Asian antiques.
